GenoSkan A/S uses a variety of advanced technologies for genotyping. The Infinium HD assay technology from Illumina is a flexible platform which makes it possible to genotype a large amount of SNP markers for one individual at a time. 

With this technology it is possible to use both customized SNP assays and to design own SNP assays. GenoSkan A/S offers customized SNP-assays for most species (human, cattle, pig, sheep, dog, etc.) with up to 1.1 million SNP-markers.
